Let's Pretend - the importance of role play
Course Description
This session considers how imaginative play and role play have an important role within a child's overall development. Underpinned by a principled play based approach the session considers how acting out can help children learn and develop, deal with situations that they may find difficult to communicate to others and can stimulate and extend vocabulary. It considers how role play can promote an understanding of the world around them at their own pace and level of knowledge and understanding.
